How to use the BlackJack Wiz
The wheel is divided into four categories:
♠️ PLAYER’S TWO-CARD TOTAL
♠️ PLAYER’S ACTION
♠️ DEALER’S UP-CARD
♠️ DEALER’S WIN PERCENTAGES
PLAYER’S TWO-CARD TOTAL
The outside ring represents the Player’s Two-Card hand, which is divided into three strategies as follows:
♥️ SOFT HAND STRATEGY
A hand with a number card and ace.
Example: 7 and Ace
♥️ PAIRS STRATEGY
A hand with two like cards.
Example: 4 and 4
♥️ BASIC STRATEGY
The total of the first two cards.
Example: 2+7=9
Notice that some of the outside numbers have one heart or two hearts below the numbers. The ♥️ hearts represents the dealer’s up- card showing in the different odds categories.
PLAYER’S ACTION
The letter in the box resents the symbol of the Player’s action to take, which are listed below Symbols. Notice the difference symbols and the action they represent.
Symbols
S – Stand
H – Hit
P – Split*
D – Double Down
X – Doesn’t Matter (Any Card)
*When splitting Aces – you can only receive one hit on each Ace.
Example: If the letter is an “S”, this means to Stand (don’t take another card)
DEALER’S UP-CARD
This is the dealer’s card you can see. It correlates to your odds of winning or loosing. Be sure and study the different categories and when the odds are in your favor.
DEALER’S WIN PERCENTAGES
NEUTRAL CARDS
2, 3 & 7 – wins only 50%
BREAKING CARDS
4, 5 & 6 – 67.5%
POWER CARDS
8, 9, 10 & Ace with 7 through Ace (total over 17) – 80%
Playing With The Wiz Wheel
Suppose you are playing a game and you draw a “3” and a “6” for a total of “9” as our two-card total (remember that in BlackJack, the suit doesn’t matter!). Locate the number 9 on the outside wheel. Now lets assume the dealer draws a “5” as his up-card. Notice the two different hearts below the 9, choose the heart that shows the 5 in the Dealer’s Up-Card box). Look over to the Player’s Action box and you see the letter D, which means to double down.
PLAYER’S TWO-CARD TOTAL
3 & 6 = 9
DEALER’S UP-CARD
5
